As far as you may know, Frisco ISD has 11 high schools. Earlier this year, they developed a plan to create a 12th high school for the district, being built Northeast of Teel Pkwy and Dakotah Rd, which would be

adjacent to the future PGA headquarters and golf courses. Anyways, in May, these plans were put on hold due to the widespread of the Covid-19 Virus. Now that the school year has begun, though, they have a

clearer picture of student enrollment, building capacity and now have resumed their project. The Board of Trustees approved a partial guaranteed maximum price, for construction of the new school. The new

school comes from a $691 bond package, with the projected cost of the school being about 122.5 million. Which will result in dirt and utility work beginning on the site this week. That indeed will allow the school to

open in 2022, with attendance zones for the new school being determined in Fall 2021.
