Rosalind Franklin-dark lady of DNA

Rosalind Franklin made a crucial contribution to the discovery of the structure of DNA.

Rosalind studied physics and chemistry at Newnham Women’s College at Cambridge University. She would later make a huge contribution to prove that DNA strands look like a double helix. She isn’t really known for her work, Biographer Brenda Maddox called her the “Dark Lady of DNA,”. Rosalind then went on to continue to study DNA ,but died of ovarian cancer at age 37.
