On Friday, December 6th, Memorial Warriors girl’s varsity basketball faced off Reedy High School. The game was back and forth in the first quarter but the Warriors pulled away. By the third quarter the score was 50-28 with Memorial in the lead. The final score was 65-39. According to Jurnee Danistrong, a sophomore, “the team performed very well and they played together easily- scoring in transition and getting the ball inside.” Some notable players of the night were Jasmine Lott who was a leading scorer in transition, and Kailee Deffebaugh who was a leading scorer in the paint.
